OUR MISSION
Create a link between job demand and job supply.
We are committed to “including” people both from a work perspective and by creating the conditions for a proper placement in our Society.
The people who turn to us come from that large group OF THE INVISIBLE.
People who, for the most varied reasons, find themselves in a condition of extreme poverty and social hardship.
We do this by applying the principles of the Community of Sant'Egidio as it was born on 7 February 1968 thanks to the insight and determination of Andrea Riccardi , historian, politician, Catholic and Italian activist.
Not only that!
Our commitment is to apply concretely, among others, the second paragraph of Article 3 of the Constitution of the Italian Republic:
“It is the duty of the Republic to remove obstacles of an economic and social nature which, by effectively limiting the freedom and equality of citizens, prevent the full development of the human person and the effective participation of all workers in the political, economic and social organization of the Country”.
The “SPORTELLO SPERANZA LAVORO OF NAPLES” is open to everyone: to those looking for work and to all entrepreneurs who need a WORKFORCE.
It is run only by volunteers who devote a large part of their days to welcoming and assisting people - “our brothers” “our neighbors” - regardless of where they come from!
Human beings who, not rarely, come from Countries where living conditions are unbearable!
Countries one would never want to leave, but one is forced to FLEE! Even risking one’s own life to live in a better condition.
One is willing to do anything to escape wars, conditions of extreme poverty, the violence that, even we “Westerners”, often without knowing it, cause; by plundering those lands of the natural resources they possess.
And not only that.
