What we do, what we have already done and what we will do

 

We have already said that our mission is welcome, help, assistance and training to give hope and whatever else must be given to the “less fortunate” people we meet every day.

 

LESS FORTUNATE is a euphemism that reeks of hypocrisy!


These people whom we all meet and whom we often try not to see are not less fortunate: they are, because of our responsibility, EXCLUDED OR NOT INCLUDED!

 

We welcome them and we consider them FRIENDS. 

Friends who have been excluded or not welcomed into our so-called “civil society”.

Many are - even here using a euphemism - homeless: they live on the street and sleep on makeshift beds of rags and cardboard.

 

To these people, abandoned or not welcomed in our society, we have pledged to give them an opportunity without distinction of sex, race, language, religion, political opinions, personal and social conditions. 

 

Recently, thanks to the solidarity network we managed to build, we found them a job!

 

A LEGAL job! 

Already about fifty people have been offered an employment contract, in most cases, open-ended!

 

Today, not without a touch of pride, we can say that those "fifty invisible"  have gained, with their availability, honesty and dedication, VISIBILITY.

 

We did not do everything alone. We did not have and perhaps will never have the means.

 

We must thank:

  • the NATIONAL FEDERATION OF MASTERS OF LABOUR METROPOLITAN CONSULATE OF NAPLES;
  • the Formedil Caserta;
  • the ARCI Mediterraneo;
  • the many private citizens who have given work to many people as carers, housekeepers, caretakers, etc.
  • last but not least, the many volunteers who with their time, dedication and professionalism made all this possible.
